The people of Assam celebrate several festivals, dance forms, music and is proud of its art and crafts, rich cuisines, languages, cultural establishments and elements. The people of Assam by and large have been able to conserve the old heritage and tradition of the land. The cultural blending in, the liberal intermingling of different groups of people, the harmonious nature of the people have made it possible that so many elements can stay under one roof in this state.
